To
launch the newest and latest version of Android at the moment, that is
Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Google is now adding two Smartphones to their
Nexus line. That is the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, the names look familiar
right? Yes, the name Nexus 6P looks similar to the name of its predecessor, Nexus 6 which
was released while launching the Android 5.0 Lollipop while the Nexus
5X is a successor to the Nexus 5, the Nexus phone that launched Android 4.4 KitKat. These new Nexus Phones have different sizes, the Nexus 5X is
5.2" while the Nexus 6P is 5.7". Let's face the bigger Nexus first,
that is the Nexus 6P while the specs, features and review of the Nexus
5X will come up later.
The
Nexus 6P is the first Nexus phone made by Huawei
and it's the first phone with a sleek, aluminum body. Unlike the Nexus 6
that it technically succeeds, it does not carry a gigantic foot
print: in fact, the 5.7" 6P is compact for its size with better specs:
the
Snapdragon 810 with 3GB of RAM. Even though the Nexus 6P doesn't have a
microSD slot, you can still choose from a base model with 32GB of
internal
storage, a 64GB option, or a more than enough 128GB version. This means
that the Nexus 6P has enough storage to save all the crystal-clear
pictures you'll take with its 12MP main and 8MP front camera.
The
Nexus 6P also features a Fingerprint scanner which adds to the security
on the phone, the fingerprint scanner "Nexus imprint", right at the
back of the Smartphone is a fast, one-tap solution to unlock your phone
and it supports Android Pay. The Nexus 6P doesn't have a wireless
charging feature, a feature that is now present in most of the latest
flagships, probably because the Nexus 6P is not here to bring us
wireless charging, instead, to deliver the purest form of the
latest Android OS, 6.0 Marshmallow. Without further ado, here is the full Specifications and
features of the Nexus 6P!
