How to Configure and use the Glo free browsing data bundle

    Few weeks ago, I and my friends noticed we have been browsing free on our phone with our Glo SIM but we thought it’s a glitch …. LoL, not knowing that it’s real and being run by Glo. If you are a regular Glo user and you always recharge with 500 and 1000 naira recharge cards then you might have free kilobytes of data on your phone, to be sure if you have it or not dial 1241 and listen to your account information.
   The number of data you have will be mentioned in kilobytes and also the expiry date, for example – 100 000 000KB = 100GB i.e. 1000KB = 1MB, 1000MB = 1GB and 1 000 000KB = 1GB but incase you didn’t hear anything about any data that means you don’t have any free kilobytes of data. To enjoy free kilobytes of data, you have to recharge with 500 naira or 1000 naira recharge cards because if you recharge with 500 naira and 1000 naira recharge card, you will get 25MB & 50MB free respectively …. So keep recharging!!!

    Note: you can only use the free kilobytes of data with the Glo Direct access point, if you use it with Glo Flat or any other Glo settings, your credit will be deducted instead of the free kilobytes. Below is the Glo Direct setting.

Username – gprs

Password – gprs
