Samsung launches its Security Platform - KNOX 2.0 Globally

   Samsung has announced the global launch of KNOX 2.0, their secure mobile platform designed to provide advanced data and privacy protection for enterprise consumers. The KNOX 2.0 platform has been redesigned and it is now known as Knox Workspace, presently available on the Samsung Galaxy S5 globally. The KNOX Workspace comes with a host of new features such as platform security, support for all Android Apps from Google Play Store, Split billing and two new cloud based services.

   According to Samsung, KNOX 2.0 brings “cutting-edge core platform security, improved user experience, and an expansive ecosystem to better meet the rapidly evolving enterprise mobility needs of customer.” Also, another interesting update for those that have other Galaxy Smartphones (but do not have the Galaxy S5) is that the KNOX 2.0 will be made available on their Galaxy smartphones through upcoming OS upgrades in the nearest future.
