Meet The Selfie Smartphone with 2 Front Cameras; The Lenovo Vibe S1

Lenovo has unveiled a new Smartphone - the Lenovo Vibe S1 at the 2015 IFA event in Berlin, Germany. The main feature of the phone is that it comes with two front cameras and a rear camera, something which Lenovo says will allow users to give their selfies "a creative twist." The first camera is a 8MP primary front camera which takes selfies, while the other one is a 2MP secondary front camera which analyzes depth of field information. The third cam on this phone is a 13MP rear camera!

To help you give your selfie a creative touch, there are several built-in photo editing tools. A very notable one is the "blur" which allows refocusing anywhere on the selfie or adding a bokeh photo effect to the background to stylize a selfie or simply to get rid of a photo bomber, according to Lenovo in its press release.

There's also another amazing tool called Cut Out that enables you to crop people out of a selfie and place them on any other image. As you can see in the image below, the Cut Out tool will be very useful when you take selfie with unwanted people behind you. Amazing indeed !

Apart from the 2 front cameras that is the main selling point of this new device, you are also most likely to be interested in knowing the Specifications, well the handset is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Octa-Core processor, and sports a 5" Full HD display. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable internal memory, but the battery is not really on the better side - it's got just a 2500 mAh battery. In terms of camera, apart from the already-mentioned two front shooters, there's also a 13MP rear cam which allows users to capture life’s moments with crystal clarity, also boasting of phase-detection autofocus that dramatically increases focusing speed. Plus, a dual-color flash optimizes color tones based on ambient lighting. The Vibe S1 offers LTE connectivity and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

The Vibe S1 will go on sale starting November, and will be available in markets where Lenovo smartphones are sold. Pricing begins at $299, and the device will be available in Pearl White and Midnight Blue color options.
